Easter 2010

This post is definitely overdue! We were away in Chicago for a long weekend last week, and I am just now catching up. The girls had a great Easter. They were super excited when they woke up and saw their presents from the "Easter Bunny". After they opened up a few presents we had a late breakfast, and then searched for eggs outside of our house and at the park. Olivia thought it was very cool that the Easter Bunny hid eggs for her and Adyson at their favorite park!

Last week the girls had a playdate with their great friends, Joey and Sam. They are all so cute together and get along so well !

When the girls woke up this past Friday, they wanted to go to the duckpond. So, we went to the store to pick to pick up some bread, picked up some friends on the way, and finally arrived. We got out of the car, put our coats and hats on (it was a windy day!!) and ran down the hill to the pond. Adyson put her hands in the air and said "Oh no mommy, ducks all gone!". She was right, there were NO ducks in the pond, which was a first for us....we have been there several times and there have always been tons of ducks. Oh well, they had a blast at the 2 playgrounds nearby and soon forgot all about the ducks....

Yesterday, the girls had a "princess party". They were very excited to dress up; Olivia chose a turquoise outfit, and Adyson chose purple.
